The plan came from work done last year by a committee of volunteers and it was approved by the County last March. We have a preliminary engineering study underway and have preliminary architectural drawings for the new office and the multipurpose building. Prices for the new staff shower house are being obtained. This info will help us know how much the other new shower house will cost. Once we have a cost for all of the improvements, we will start fundraising – hopefully in late winter/early spring.

We will be soliciting donations in earnest later this year, but if you would like to donate now, please send a check made out to Virginia Headwaters Council to the Scout office located at 617 Greenville Ave, Staunton, VA 24401. Make sure to write CAMP IMPROVEMENT PLAN in the note area so that the money goes towards the camp and not into the general fund.
