District Committee

Mountain Valley District Committee

The District Committee plays a crucial role in supporting Scouting across the Mountain Valley District. This team of dedicated volunteers—some with Scouting backgrounds and others from the broader community—works together to ensure that units have the resources, guidance, and support needed to deliver the mission of Scouting America.

The committee focuses on four key areas:

  • Membership – Growing Scouting and ensuring all youth have the opportunity to participate.
  • Fund Development – Raising the financial resources necessary to support Scouting programs.
  • Program – Providing high-quality district events, training, and advancement opportunities.
  • Unit Service – Ensuring units receive the support and resources they need to thrive.

We are always looking for dedicated volunteers who are passionate about serving youth and making a difference in their communities.

Meetings

The District Committee meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM via Zoom. All interested individuals are welcome to join and contribute to the success of Scouting in our district.
